WHAT DOES "BACK THE BUILD" MEAN?
Every shirt you buy from SlideStar does more than look good — it puts money directly into the builds, the drivers, and the culture that makes grassroots drifting real.
We're not a corporation licensing logos from a boardroom. We're a shop crew out of Butler, Pennsylvania — fabricators, welders, mechanics, and designers who build race cars with our own hands and take them sideways at competition speed. SlideStar exists because we believe the people closest to the cars should be the ones making the gear.
HOW IT WORKS
Driver Collaborations: Every Featured Driver collection is a direct partnership. We work with the driver to design something that represents who they are and what they drive. When you buy a driver's shirt, a portion of that sale goes straight to them — helping cover tires, entry fees, parts, fuel, and everything else it takes to keep a car on track. You're not buying merch. You're sponsoring a build.
Shop Gear: Our Jacks & Jokers Garage collection funds the shop that makes it all possible — the tools, the equipment, the R&D on new parts, and the crew that keeps the doors open. When you rep J&J, you're keeping a real fabrication shop alive.
The Base Set: SlideStar originals are pure drift culture — designed by people who live it, printed in-house, and sold to fund the next round of everything above.
WHY IT MATTERS
Grassroots motorsports doesn't have billion-dollar sponsors. The drivers competing at local and regional events are funding their own programs — working day jobs, maxing out credit cards, and spending every spare dollar on the next set of tires or the part that finally makes the car right.
We started SlideStar because we wanted to change that equation. Not with handouts, but with a real exchange: you get premium apparel designed by people who actually build and drive these cars, and the money goes right back into the sport you love watching.

SlideStar is powered by Jacks & Jokers Garage — a full-service motorsports fabrication shop specializing in Ford engine swaps, cage builds, and competition prep. Our media arm, Race Fuel Only, documents the builds and the culture.
We're a four-person crew trying to turn our obsession into a livelihood. When you back the build, you're helping make that happen.
